【Day 1】Kinkaku-ji & Miyama Snow Lantern Festival → Accommodation in Kyoto
Depart from Osaka or Kyoto to visit the World Heritage Site, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion). In winter, the silvery snow covers the garden, and the golden pavilion is reflected on the lake, creating a tranquil and beautiful scene like a Japanese painting.
Afterward, head to Miyama Kayabuki no Sato to experience the winter-limited Miyama Snow Lantern Festival illumination. Snow covers the rooftops and paths, and thousands of lights illuminate the ancient village, with plumes of smoke rising, creating a fairytale-like world. In the evening, you can also sample local winter snacks such as piping hot venison skewers and warm Miyama milk at the food stalls.

【Day 2】Amanohashidate → Ine Boathouses & Ine Bay Cruise → Return to Osaka/Kyoto
Depart in the morning to Amanohashidate, one of the three scenic spots of Japan. Ascend to the Kasamatsu Park observation deck for a panoramic view of the 3.6 km long pine-covered sandbar lying across Miyazu Bay. In winter, the snow covers the pine branches and the sea surface is blue, resembling a silver bridge to the sky, creating a tranquil and dreamy landscape.
Next, head to Ine Boathouses, seaside houses built along the water's edge since the Edo period. In winter, the roofs are covered with snow and the sea surface glistens, creating a serene and picturesque scene. Take the Ine Bay Cruise to admire the boathouses and the winter bay scenery up close, and experience the unique charm of the ancient fishing village.
The tour concludes in the afternoon, and you will return to Osaka or Kyoto by comfortable bus, ending the trip with winter scenery and unforgettable experiences.
