At 9:00 AM, our journey begins from the downtown hotel, heading to the historical and cultural heart of Nanjing. First, we will visit Jiming Temple, an ancient temple with a thousand-year history, known for its long-standing Buddhist culture and peaceful atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to visit the Medicine Buddha Pagoda, climb to enjoy a panoramic view, and take in the beautiful scenery of Xuanwu Lake, feeling the tranquility and serenity. Afterwards, we will walk to Nanjing Taicheng, entering from Jiefangmen, and step on the ancient bricks of the Ming City Wall. Here, you can stroll along the city wall, feel the weight of history, and overlook the lush Zijin Mountain and the sparkling Xuanwu Lake, as if traveling back to the era of war and horses. At lunchtime, we will provide you with free time to choose a restaurant around Xuanwu Lake to taste authentic Nanjing cuisine, such as duck blood vermicelli soup, small笼包 (xiaolongbao), etc., and feel the unique flavor of this city. In the afternoon, we will continue to explore Xuanwu Lake Park. You can choose to walk or take a sightseeing bus to tour around the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Five Continents. Whether it is the cherry blossoms of Yingzhou, the lotus flowers of Liangzhou, or the lush greenery of Cuizhou, they will bring you visual enjoyment. You can also choose to take a nap by the lake and feel the comfort of the breeze. The entire trip is expected to end around 1:00 PM, after which we will return to the downtown hotel. In this half-day tour, you will deeply appreciate the history, culture, and natural scenery of Nanjing.
