Day 1: Depart Cusco, travel to Challacancha, meet the horsemen, hike to Soraypampa, and optionally visit Humantay Lake in the afternoon. Day 2: After breakfast, hike to the Salkantay Pass, enjoy views of the snow-capped Salkantay, then descend to the Collpapampa campsite in a tropical forest. Day 3: Trek through forests observing diverse flora, visit local families in Wiñaypoco and Lucmabamba, learn about coffee cultivation, and camp at Lucmabamba. Day 4: Hike the Inca trail to Llactapata, enjoy views of Machu Picchu and Vilcanota Canyon, descend to the Hydroelectric train station, and end at Machu Picchu town. Day 5: Visit Machu Picchu early morning, explore the citadel with a guided tour, enjoy free time to explore or climb Wayna Picchu, and return to Cusco by train in the evening.

  • Tea and snack time every day (tea, coffee, wantan, popcorn, cracker)
  • Horseman and mules for up to 7kg of a customer's personal equipment
