Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Km.104 – Callacancha – Wiñay Wayna – Intipunku – Aguas Calientes

We start our 2-day Inca Trail journey early, departing Cusco at 4:30 AM. After breakfast in Ollantaytambo, we take a train to Km 104 and begin our hike at 8 AM. Along the way, we explore Callacancha and Wiñay Wayna, reaching Intipunku for Machu Picchu views by 4:30 PM. We descend to Aguas Calientes by 6:30 PM for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

We depart Aguas Calientes at 4:00 AM, taking a bus to Machu Picchu's entrance at 5:30 AM. After a guided tour, you have free time to explore. We return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and leisure before heading back to Cusco by train and bus, concluding our journey by 9:00 PM.

Day 1

  • [Attraction/experience] Guided tour, Km 104 Station, Winay Wayna Camp, Then, we’ll board a morning train to Aguas Calientes, but we’ll disembark at Km 104 station. Our guide will lead us through the Inca site of Callacancha and Wiñay Wayna, where we’ll have box lunch.
  • [Attraction/experience] Guided tour, Sun Gate, Machu Picchu, The hike continues towards the Sun Gate (Intipunku), aiming to arrive before sunset for a magnificent view. From the Sun Gate, we officially enter Machu Picchu.
  • [Attraction/experience] AGUAS CALIENTES, We’ll descend to Aguas Calientes and take a bus to town, where you’ll enjoy a comfortable night's stay in your hotel.

Day 2

  • [Attraction/experience] Guided tour, AGUAS CALIENTES, Ollantaytambo, Cusco, After the visit, we’ll take a bus back to Aguas Calientes. You'll have time for lunch (not included). Then, we’ll board the train to Ollantaytambo and a bus to Cusco, concluding our adventure.
