Intro

This museum focuses on the theme of "Early Modern Nagasaki's History of Overseas Exchange," and brings together a large number of valuable historical materials, fine art objects, and more.
In addition to the actual exhibits, there are also hands-on and video corners, so you can learn about the history of Nagasaki with all five senses!
In the "Nagasaki Magistrate's Office Zone," the role of the magistrate's office and materials related to Christians are exhibited. In addition, historical events are introduced in short plays (every Sunday)!

By bus: From JR Nagasaki Station (bus stop in front of FamilyMart), take the Ken-ei Bus (Kazagashira-machi ~ Yume Saito Line) and get off at "Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture."
By bus: Take the local bus to "Sakuramachi Koen-mae" bus stop, then 3 minutes on foot.
By train: [Streetcar] 5-minute walk from "Sakuramachi" stop
By train: [Streetcar] Get off at "Nagasaki Ekimae" and walk 10 minutes towards Sakuramachi.
By train: [Streetcar] 10-minute walk towards Sakuramachi Elementary School from "City Hall" stop
