  • The first part is the stepped designed cable car route which has a height difference of 561 meters.
  • The second part is the air route that tourists inside the cable car can overlook Kyto's scenery, having a skywalk, and enjoy the different scenery. Tourists can appreciate cherry blossoms in spring and maple leaves in autumn.
  • When reaching the top of the mountain, you can also take the shuttle bus to visit the world heritage, Enryakuji Temple.

Eizan Cable Ropeway will be closed during winter from January 4th (Thursday) to March 19th (Tuesday).
