Fenghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park

Located in Lugu Township, Nantou County, the park covers more than 30 hectares and is home to a variety of rare and exotic birds from Taiwan and around the world, such as the Blyth's hornbill, peacock-pheasant, Victoria crowned pigeon, Taiwan blue magpie, and thick-billed raven, totaling over 100 species. Regular interactive experiences with birds, parrot shows, and immersive VR experiences are must-see activities at the park.

Chelungpu Fault Preservation Park

Tickets grant access to the entire park, including the Geological Science Hall permanent exhibition, special exhibition area, audio-visual center, and the world-class geological heritage Fault Trench Preservation Hall. On weekends, science education activities are regularly held to provide visitors with different experiences and interactions.

The Fenghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park is a natural environment and habitat for many wild animals and insects. We recommend wearing breathable clothing such as long sleeves and pants, as well as comfortable walking shoes. To prevent sunburn and mosquito bites, please bring your own mosquito repellent.
The park is located in a valley, resulting in significant temperature differences between morning and evening and unstable weather conditions. We recommend bringing extra clothing and rain gear. The park information desk also provides complimentary umbrellas for your convenience.

How to get there

Driving: National Highway 3: Take the Zhushan Interchange → Provincial Highway 3 (towards Zhushan Lugu) → Baojia Road (County Road 151A) → County Road 151 → Lugu → Tou 56 → Fenghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park (approximately 17 kilometers)
Public Transportation: Take Taichung Bus 6188 (Taichung-Zhushan) to Zhushan Yanping Station, then transfer to Yuanlin Bus 6717 (Zhushan-Bird Park) and get off at the Bird Park stop.
