Itinerary Overview (Reference):
☆08:00 Gather at Munich Central Station and head to the Magic Forest.
☆10:30 Pass through the town of Ramsau and head to Hintersee Lake, one of the three lakes of Königssee (King's Lake). It is quiet and serene, with misty clouds, like a fairyland. Next to it is the [Magic Forest], where you can get off and walk for about 30 minutes to experience the charm of the [Berchtesgaden National Park].
☆12:00 Lunch
☆13:00 Arrive at [Königssee (King's Lake)], queue up to take a cruise. Königssee is a long and beautiful lake formed by glacial erosion, very much like the fjords of Northern Europe. The lake water is clear and famous for its clarity. The [St. Bartholomew's Church] is a stop along the way. This church by the lake is often called the Red-Domed Church and is a landmark of Königssee.
☆In winter, if the cruise is not operating, you can take the cable car to [Jenner (JennerBahn)] at your own expense. It is 1874 meters above sea level, and the view of Königssee from the top of the mountain is excellent. You can also see the entire Berchtesgaden.
☆16:00 Return to Munich.
☆18:00 Arrive in Munich and the tour ends.
(If the Königssee boat ticket time is in the morning, first go to Königssee to start a leisurely and peaceful boat trip, then after lunch, go to Hintersee Lake and the Magic Forest)
Note:
- Please sign up in advance. The Königssee cruise may be canceled due to force majeure factors such as bad weather.
- Königssee cruises are suspended on December 24th. During this period, you will take a cable car to the Jenner to overlook Königssee. If you need to book this tour, please contact customer service to change the ticket type and price.
- Vehicles are arranged according to the number of people. If a small car with 9 seats or less is dispatched, Chinese-speaking driver-guide service will be arranged.
- The normal working hours for the driver-guide are 10 hours. Overtime fee is 50 euros/hour (shared equally by the tour participants). Please settle with the driver-guide consciously. According to European passenger transport qualification management regulations, working hours cannot exceed 12 hours. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Each guest gives the driver-guide a tip of €4 per day.
- Jenner (round-trip cable car €38/person) When Königssee cruises are suspended in winter due to bad weather, you will take a cable car to overlook Königssee instead.
