The Journey begins in Sembalun village (1,100 meters), passing through scenic grassy fields. The hike to the Sembalun crater rim (2,639 meters) takes around 7 hours, so good stamina is essential. Be prepared for strong sun—wear a hat and use sunblock.

On day two, the summit climb starts at 2:30 AM, reaching Rinjani’s peak (3,726 meters) by sunrise for breathtaking views of Lombok. After descending, you’ll visit Lake Segara Anak and relax in nearby hot springs. You’ll camp overnight at the Senaru crater rim, enjoying a serene sunset.

The final day features a descent via the Senaru trail—an hour through open grasslands followed by a 5-hour trek in tropical forest—ending at Senaru village basecamp and concluding your adventure.
