  • How to get there: The easiest and cheapest way to get to the fortress is by bus. Many buses stop at the Rumeli Hisarı station, which is right by the entrance.

How to get there

  • By bus: From Sultanahmet, take tram T1 to Kabatas, then transfer to bus #22 or 25E; from Taksim, take the funicular F1 to Kabatas and transfer to bus #22 or 25E, or take buses #40, 40T, or 42T directly to the Rumeli Hisarı stop.
  • By car: The trip from Taksim Square takes around 15 minutes, and from Sultanahmet, it's about 20 minutes.
