Information

Haerang's Korean, a Korean reading program developed for foreigners who have difficulty studying Hangul, is designed to make them learn Hangul in the easiest and most efficient way based on the features of Hangul.

  • 2-hour Korean class at 'Haerang's Korean', the easiest and most efficient way to learn the Korean Alphabet(Hangul) based on the features of Hangul.
  • You can understand Korean culture and history more deeply through “Hangul”, created by King Sejong to promote literacy among common people who didn’t know how to read and write in the Joseon Dynasty.
  • This systematic and intuitive program is not boring or difficult and enables you to read most of Hangul by combining consonants and vowels in a short period of time.
  • There are a lot of tourist attractions nearby such as Seochon, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong and the Cheonggyecheon stream. After the class, explore Seoul using the Korean you have learned!

  • Only those who are aged above 13 are able to participate, and the lesson will be conducted in English (not conducted in Chinese/Japanese)
  • If you want to purchase a Korean textbook in English(10,000 won), you can purchase it with cash or card on site.
