The total length of the cave exceeds 10 km, and on the approximately 1 km-long tourist course, you can witness a variety of natural formations created over many years. The "Hyakumaizara" (One Hundred Dishes), which resembles terraced rice fields, is a spectacular sight that is sure to be Instagram-worthy. In the "Adventure Course," you can enjoy a thrilling exploration by climbing ladders with a flashlight in hand and squeezing through stalactites (separate fee applies). The temperature inside the cave remains constant at 17°C throughout the year, making it cool in summer and warm in winter, allowing you to enjoy sightseeing comfortably even on rainy days.

Akiyoshido Cave, located in Mine City in the central part of Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a special natural monument of Japan. Akiyoshido Cave is one of Japan's largest limestone caves, and is said to be the largest in Japan in terms of scale as a tourist cave. The total length is approximately 10.7 km, and six types of bats, endemic species such as the Akiyoshimizu beetle, and rare creatures can be seen inside the cave. The cave maintains a temperature of around 17°C, making it cool in summer and warm in winter, ensuring a comfortable visit at any time.
